Privacy Policy
InvitedHome.com (InvitedHome, Inc.) provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information obtained through this site. This policy applies only to information you provide via this site and may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be posted here. Please review this page periodically. Unless otherwise defined here, terms have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.
As used in this policy, the terms “using” and “processing” information include employing cookies, performing statistical or other analysis, and handling information in any way, including collecting, storing, evaluating, modifying, deleting, combining, disclosing, and transferring information within our organization or among our affiliates in the United States or internationally.
International transfer
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside your state, province, or country where privacy laws may differ. If you are outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, you consent to the transfer and processing of your personal information in the United States in accordance with this policy. You can change or delete your information as described below.
Information collection and use
Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide and improve our site, services, features, and content; to administer your membership; and to help users enjoy and easily navigate the site.
Personally identifiable information
When you register, post or reserve a listing, or contact a member, we may ask for personally identifiable information (“Identity Information”) such as your name, phone number, email address, and postal address. We may also request credit card number and billing details to process certain transactions (“Billing Information”). Together these are “Personal Information.” We use Personal Information mainly to provide the service, complete transactions, administer inquiries, and send information that may be of interest. You may also provide other non-identifying details (for example, ZIP code or preferences) used to personalize your experience. We may combine Personal Information with non-identifying information to improve our services and tailor content.
We may send newsletters, marketing or promotional materials, and other information that may interest you. You can unsubscribe at any time using the instructions in our communications or by updating your preferences. We may still send service-related notifications that are not optional.
Log data
When you visit the site, our servers automatically record information (“Log Data”) such as IP address, browser type, the page you visited before arriving, pages viewed, time spent, search queries, access times and dates, and other statistics. We use Log Data to monitor and analyze site use, administer the site, enhance functionality and user-friendliness, and verify eligibility to process requests. We generally treat Log Data as non-identifying, though we may aggregate and analyze it to improve our services.
Cookies
We use cookies to collect information and improve the site. Persistent cookies may save your registration ID and login password for future visits. Session cookies help enable certain site features, understand interactions, and monitor aggregate usage; these cookies are deleted when you log off and close your browser. Third parties who place ads on the site may also place or read cookies. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or prompt before accepting them; however, some features may not function properly without cookies.

Phishing
Protecting you from identity theft is a priority. For general information about phishing, consult authoritative consumer protection resources.
Information sharing and disclosure overview
Traveler Billing Information is never shared with Owners. Payment card transactions are processed by a third-party processor, and InvitedHome.com does not capture or store payment card details.
Listings
If you list a lodging space, we may publish that listing on our site and enable certain third parties to publish it through secure integrations. We may display the general location of your listing on a map; your street address is disclosed only after a reservation is confirmed. Travelers will never have access to Owners’ Billing Information and vice versa.
We may facilitate communication between Owners and Service Providers who offer property maintenance services. We may invite Service Providers to participate in our marketplace using contact information provided by Owners. Participation is optional and Service Providers can opt out at any time.
Aggregate and non-identifying information
We may share aggregated information that does not include Personal Information and may disclose Non-Identifying Information and Log Data to third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling, and other purposes.
Third parties
We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our service, provide services on our behalf, perform site-related services (such as maintenance, database management, payment processing, and analytics), or assist in analyzing site usage. These parties may access Personal Information only to perform tasks for us and must not use it for other purposes. We may also associate information about you from third-party services with your site account and, where appropriate, provide Personal Information to business partners or other trusted entities to inform you about goods or services that may interest you. You can opt out of such communications at any time. Third-party vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits; you can adjust your browser or ad settings to manage such cookies.
Compliance with laws and law enforcement
We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose information as we deem necessary to respond to claims and legal process (including subpoenas), protect the property and rights of InvitedHome.com or third parties, protect public safety, or prevent illegal or unethical activity.

Security
We use administrative, physical, and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. We will make legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of unencrypted electronically stored personal data via email or conspicuous posting on this site, consistent with law enforcement needs and measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore system integrity.
